Man confronted after ‘throwing homeless people’s sleeping bags away’

Eyewitness Wez James claims he saw the man, who he believed to be a security guard, collect the bags when the rough sleepers went to use toilets in a nearby Burger King in Manchester.

He said the man collected the bags using a litter picker before disposing of them in the bin.
The 26-year-old said he believed the man worked for the store, however, this has been denied by M&S, while Manchester City Council has denied he works them.

Wez explained he was ‘sickened’ by the incident.
