Thirty families from the Milwaukee area gathered Monday, Jan. 16, at the Whitefish Bay Public Library to pack on-the-go bags for homeless people.
The volunteer event was organized by Toddlers and Kids on a Mission and The Help Project. Toddlers and Kids on a Mission seeks to empower children of all ages to work with their caregivers to build relationships and strengthen the Milwaukee community through partnerships and service experiences in an inclusive environment. The HELP Project address issues of racial and social injustice, poverty and education equality for our youth and their families.
